Damn.
We have been … .
We have been making sweet sounds for such a long time:)
And not a single ‘slap yo ho biotch’ in sight.
Good good times. Thanks for posting.
Probably not, but … Probably not, but that’s probably because you’re well used to hearing the NZ accent. I’m sure that countries with other accents (case example, Australians) sound perfectly fine to each other (though reigonal accents may affect this), but sound awkward to others. For example, as we hear the term ‘fish n chips’ come from our Australian friends as ‘feesh n cheeps’, APPARENTLY (according to many Australian folk), it sounds as though we’re (People with NZ accents) are saying ‘fush n’ chups’.
What I was supposed … What I was supposed to say is that’s a rough approximation of how our accent sounds to people NOT from New Zealand (apparently). As far as South Island ‘hick town’… I’m from Christchurch so does that count?
Nah it doesn’t. You … Nah it doesn’t. You might find someone who lives in some hick town in the South Island who’d say it to that extreme, but most of us just speak with an average accent.
