If you don’t own this whole album ; get it . It is amazing from beginning to end. One brilliant song after another. The singing by these two guys is beautiful, the arrangements are perfect. All dark and gorgeous. ( support artists by seeing them when they play live )

@katzenjammerqotsa it was the first episode of the fifth season. i dont know what it was called. i remember that at the end, when this song was playin, tommy was goin back into a burning down apartment, but the firemen stopped him cuz i guess it was collapsing or cuz the guy was at the top and they thought tommy would make it, and he yells at the chief and such, while the guy at the top disapperas in the flames, and the rest of the guys just look up in regret

Season 1 or 2? That was season 4 if I am thinking of the right baby fire. Sean wasn’t introduced till season 4 (the black one anyways). The song is The Lure Would Prove Too Much by Twilight Singers.

Anyone know who sang the song that was playing during Season 1 or 2 during the “baby fire” where Black Sean and Tommy were trying to catch all the kids? It was slow like this song, and there was the line “we’re all screwed.” I can’t find it anywhere.

Not really. Modest Mouse has always had a stuttering sort of staggered vocals. Mainly because Isaac has a stutter. Modest Mouse is more “desperate” I guess. The layered vocals sort of sounds MM though!

I am a huge Rescue Me fan since it’s birth and I have played FDNY each year in the 9-11 hockey tourney.
