I personally can’t wait, I’m sick of these so called "metalheads" and their Bring Me The Horizon garbage. Then again some other, equally awful sub-genre will likely rise out of the gutter and take its place.

Some Metalcore ain’t that bad 
But, yeah I don’t think it’ll last much longer than any other boring and vapid genre out there. Much of it is full of rather mundane musicianship and extremely poor songwriting. It just ain’t satisfying, know what I mean? Then again many people don’t care what the fukc they hear, literally don’t use their ears at all and just blend in with the crowd. For those who actually have ears and know how to use them, the genre was never alive.
As long as there are 13 year old’s, untrained ears, preppy labels and so on and so forth, it will essentially continue to plague the market. But cheer up dude, there’s some awesome Black and Death going on now, pretty much balances it out right? =P
