Making my own custom Gutter Filter
I like the Micro mesh design of a gutter filter. The large holes of regular screens are to large for small tree debris, this includes pine needles. They do not work.
Most micro mesh manufactures charge by section or a 25′ run length. The price was too high for me so I decided to make my own.
So far so good. Longevity still needs to be tested. I will be happy if they last for 3 years, the materials are cheap and the labor is free. Home store Gutter Guards $2.15 a piece plus some remnant pieces of nylon drapery from the fabric store, some hot glue and a weekend of time. One Story ranch complete spending $130 for all.
Video of them installed.
